Waffles, Uncle Rick's
| 2 c. whole wheat flour |
| 3/4 c. wheat bran |
| 3/4 c. wheat germ (raw or roasted) |
| 1 t. baking powder |
| 1 t. salt |
| 3 T. sugar |
| 4 eggs |
| 1/2 c. oil |
| milk |
| 1 T. vanilla (or to taste) |
| 1 handful pecan pieces (optional) |
| 1 ripe banana (optional) |
Combine ingredients. Ideally, let sit for 30m before cooking.
Notes:
- Milk is "to consistency." Original recipe says should be <1 qt. Fill in something more precise here after trying the recipe.
- Original recipe calls for cooking on max setting of waffle iron, which seems awfully high. But try this on one or two waffles just to see, and update recipe with results.
