| 1 lb. ground beef |
| 1 c. chopped onion |
| 2/3 c. chopped celery |
| 2/3 c. chopped green pepper |
| 12 oz. can tomato paste |
| 1 c. water |
| 2 t. chili powder |
| 1 t. Worcestershire sauce |
| 1/2 t. salt |
| 1/4 t. dried whole thyme |
| 1/8 t. pepper |
| dash hot sauce |
| 6 oz. pkg. corn chips |
| 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese |
Combine ground beef and vegetables in large skillet; cook until meat is browned, stirring to crumble. Drain off pan drippings. Stir in remaining ingredients except chips and cheese; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over corn chips, and top with cheese.
