Strawberry Frozen Dessert

1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 box frozen strawberries, thawed
2 egg whites
1 T. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 t. vanilla
1/2 pint whipping cream

Combine nuts, brown sugar, flour, and butter in shallow pan in oven and bake at 400° for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to mix well. Set aside to cool. In large bowl, mix strawberries, egg whites, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla. Beat for 20 minutes. Whip whipping cream and fold into mixture. Place half of nut topping in bottom of 11x7 baking dish. Add filling and put remaining nut mixture on top. Cover and freeze.
