| 1 T. shortening |
| 6 pork chops, 1" thick |
| salt and pepper |
| 1/2 c. water |
| 6 small potatoes |
| 6 carrots |
Heat pressure cooker and add shortening. Season pork chops and brown. Add water. Place potatoes and carrots on top. Cook 10 to 12 minutes and let pressure drop of its own accord.
Serves 4.
